Walai.id, Maros – Yayasan SHIN Indonesia TC Maros telah meluncurkan program magang pertanian yang mengirimkan 17 petani milenial dari Kabupaten Maros ke Nagano, Jepang, untuk menjalani program selama 9 bulan, pada Jumat, 08/03/2024.
Menurut H. Budiawan, Penanggung Jawab Yayasan SHIN Indonesia TC Maros, program ini merupakan hasil kerjasama dengan Accepting Organization (AO) ASIA AGURI di Jepang.
Program ini bertujuan untuk merekrut petani milenial dari Maros untuk mengikuti magang di Jepang, dengan harapan dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia, terutama di kalangan petani milenial di Kabupaten Maros.
Selain itu, program ini juga dirancang untuk memberikan nilai tambah kepada peserta, termasuk penguasaan bahasa Jepang dan pengalaman hidup di Jepang.
Di bawah pengawasan Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Maros, program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi langkah awal dalam meningkatkan ekonomi dan soft skill di Kabupaten Maros.
“Setelah melalui pelatihan selama 3 bulan, hari ini kita berhasil mengirimkan 17 siswa. Kami berharap dapat merekrut lebih banyak siswa, dengan kuota yang telah kami dapatkan dari Jepang sebanyak 40 siswa untuk tahun 2025,” ujar H. Budiawan.
