Optimalkan Nilai Tambah Transformasi Digital, Kominfo Siapkan VID 2045

Walai.id, Jakarta – Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika, Budi Arie Setiadi, mengungkapkan bahwa Kementerian Kominfo tengah mempersiapkan Visi Indonesia Digital 2045 (VID 2045) sebagai langkah untuk mengoptimalkan nilai tambah dari transformasi digital.

Transformasi digital diyakini dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap ekonomi global, dengan perkiraan nilai tambah mencapai USD100 Triliun pada tahun 2025, menurut data World Economy Forum dan McKinsey.

Budi Arie Setiadi menyatakan bahwa Indonesia memiliki potensi untuk memanfaatkan nilai tambah transformasi digital, yang diharapkan dapat berkontribusi sekitar 11% terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto (PDB) pada tahun 2040, setara dengan USD2,8 Triliun.

“Kementerian Kominfo sedang mengembangkan kebijakan pendukung, termasuk perumusan Visi Indonesia Digital 2045, untuk mengatasi tantangan dan memaksimalkan potensi yang ada,” ucapnya dalam acara The 5th International Conference and Community Development 2023 secara daring di Jakarta Selatan, Selasa 14/11/2023.

VID 2045, menurut Menteri Budi Arie, akan merinci pencapaian dasar dari implementasi peta jalan digital Indonesia. Proses pembentukan VID 2045 juga melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan untuk memberikan masukan terkait arah kebijakan, strategi, dan kerangka regulasi yang dibutuhkan.

“Semua ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan peluang di tengah tantangan seperti gangguan teknologi, kesenjangan digital, dan masalah keamanan siber,” tambahnya.

Selain VID 2045, Kementerian Kominfo juga melakukan penilaian Indeks Transformasi Digital Nasional, mengukur kemajuan transformasi digital di Indonesia berdasarkan lima pilar: infrastruktur, pemerintah, bisnis, masyarakat, dan ekosistem, baik di tingkat nasional maupun daerah.

Menteri Budi Arie Setiadi menegaskan bahwa teknologi harus diarahkan untuk mencapai tujuan yang lebih besar, seperti mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Ia mengajak semua pihak untuk bersama-sama memanfaatkan kekuatan teknologi demi kemajuan Indonesia.
