Walai.id, Maros – Dalam mendukung program konversi energi yang digulirkan oleh Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Tahun 2023.
Bupati Maros H.A.S Chaidir Syam, S.IP., MH, bersama dengan Anggota DPR RI, Andi Yuliani Paris, dan Anggota DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Andi Muhammad Irfan AB, secara simbolis menyerahkan bantuan alat konversi bahan bakar minyak (BBM) ke bahan bakar gas (BBG) kepada petani, sebagai bagian dari Program Konversi Energi Tahun 2023.
Penyerahan ini berlangsung dalam acara sosialisasi teknis penyediaan dan pendistribusian paket perdana Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) di Dusun Tangkuru, Desa Bonto Marannu, Kecamatan Lau, Pada Sabtu 7/10/2023.
Kemitraan ini terwujud berkat aspirasi masyarakat Maros yang diperjuangkan oleh Andi Yuliani Paris, yang merupakan anggota Komisi VII DPR RI dari Partai PAN, dan dukungan Bupati Maros, Chaidir Syam, serta Anggota DPRD Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, Andi Muhammad Irfan AB.
Tujuan utama dari kemitraan Program Konversi Energi ini adalah untuk mempercepat adopsi BBG sebagai sumber energi yang lebih bersih dan ramah lingkungan di kalangan petani.
Dengan langkah ini, diharapkan program konversi ini akan membantu mengurangi ketergantungan terhadap BBM, sehingga berpotensi mengurangi dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, sambil meningkatkan efisiensi dalam penggunaan energi.
