Prabowo-Erick menjadi pasangan yang mampu melesat dengan suara melewati pasangan Ganjar-Prabowo Pada poling yang dilakukan sejak 20 Februari – 10 April 2023, terdapat lebih dari 17 ribu voters telah memberikan pilihannya.
Tercatat 4.349 suara terpilih untuk pasangan Menteri berkinerja terbaik kabinet Indonesia Maju tersebu, yakni Prabowo dan Erick Thohir.
Melihat hasil tersebut, Peneliti Bidang Politik The Indonesian Institut Ahmad Hidayah menilai, Prabowo – Erick Thohir menjadi duet ideal untuk kontestasi elektoral mendatang. Lantaran hadirnya dukungan berbagai kalangan.
Menurut dia menjadi Langkah tepat bila menduetkan keduanya bertarung pada Pilpres 2024. Hal demikian karena keduanya memiliki keunggulan yang dapat saling melengkapi.
“Secara finansial, Erick Thohir cukup kuat, sehingga ditambah dengan finansial Prabowo yang juga kuat, dapat meningkatkan persentase kemenangan,” kata Ahmad.
Dia menyebut bahwa kekuatan logisitk Prabowo dan Erick Thohir merupakan sebuah modal kuat. Sehingga dapat membuat tingkat keterpilihan di masyarakat semakin meningkat pesat.
Karenanya tidak mengherankan bila dukungan besar terhadap pasangan Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra dan Menteri BUMN tersebut semakin menguat. Keduanya dinilai menjadi duet potensial dapat saling mengisi.
Lebih lanjut dia melihat bahwa Erick Thohir miliki banyak keunggulan untuk diusung sebagai cawapres. Figurnya menjadi sangat pas untuk dapat mendampingi Prabowo pada Pilpres nanti.
“Erick Thohir dinilai cukup berpotensi berpasangan dengan Prabowo,” ucap Ahmad.
