Walai.id, Nasional – KIP Kuliah Merdeka adalah bentuk jaminan pembiayaan pendidikan dan bantuan biaya hidup yang diberikan kepada siswa dari keluarga kurang mampu untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi.
Tahun ini, Kemendikbudristek membuka kembali pendaftaran program KIP Kuliah Merdeka tahun 2022 bagi semua siswa yang akan melanjutkan pendidikan di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN) atau pun Perguruan Tinggi Swasta (PTS).
Abdul Kahar menjelaskan syarat pendaftaran KIP Kuliah Merdeka tahun 2022. Ia menuturkan, KIP Kuliah Merdeka 2022 bisa diikuti oleh semua siswa yang memenuhi tiga syarat.
Pertama, siswa adalah lulusan SMA, SMK, atau sederajat di tahun 2022 atau yang telah dinyatakan lulus maksimal dua tahun sebelumnya. Siswa tersebut harus memiliki Nomor Induk Siswa Nasional (NISN), Nomor Pokok Sekolah Nasional (NPSN), serta Nomor Induk Kependidikan (NIK) yang valid.
Kedua, siswa memiliki potensi akademik yang baik tetapi mengalami keterbatasan ekonomi dengan dibuktikan melalui dokumen yang sah.
Ketiga, siswa yang lulus seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru melalui jalur yang diselenggarakan dan diterima oleh PTN atau PTS dengan program studi terakreditasi.
“Intinya, bahwa KIP Kuliah ini menyasar mahasiswa yang memenuhi syarat dengan kategori mahasiswa baru, bukan yang on going study,” imbuh Kahar.
Adapun jadwal pendaftaran KIP Kuliah tahun 2020, lanjut Kahar, untuk jalur SNMPTN pada 7 Februari hingga 17 Maret 2022, jalur SNMPTN pada 13 Februari hingga 27 Februari 2022, jalur Ujian Tertulis Berbasis Komputer (UTBK-SBMPTN) pada 22 Maret hingga 14 April 2022, Seleksi Bersama Masuk Politeknik Negeri (SBMPN) pada 5 April hingga 29 Juni 2022, jalur seleksi mandiri PTN pada 1 Juni hingga 7 Oktober 2022, dan jalur seleksi mandiri PTS pada 8 Juni hingga 31 Oktober 2022.
Meskipun dibagi menjadi enam periode pendaftaran yang berbeda, Kahar menjelaskan calon mahasiswa perguruan tinggi bisa mendaftar KIP Kuliah Merdeka 2022 mulai saat ini.
Cara pendaftarannya, pertama siswa melakukan pendaftaran melalui laman https://kip-kuliah.kemdikbud.go.id/.
Selanjutnya, klik menu “Login Siswa”, kemudian isikan NIK, NISN, NPSN, dan alamat email yang aktif.
Kemudian, sistem KIP Kuliah akan melakukan validasi NIK, NISN, dan NPSN serta kelayakan mendapatkan KIP Kuliah.
Jika proses validasi berhasil, sistem KIP Kuliah selanjutnya akan mengirimkan Nomor Pendaftaran dan Kode Akses ke alamat email yang didaftarkan.
Langkah selanjutnya, siswa masuk ke dalam SIM KIP Kuliah dengan memasukkan nomor pendaftaran dan kode akses untuk menyelesaikan proses pendaftaran KIP Kuliah dan memilikih proses seleksi yang diikuti (SNMPNT/SBMPTN/SNMPN/SBMPN/Mandiri).
Kemudian siswa menyelesaikan proses pendaftaran di portal atau SIM KIP Kuliah sesuai jalur seleksi yang dipilih pada seleksi nasional atau pada seleksi masuk di perguruan tinggi.
Bagi calon penerima KIP Kuliah Merdeka yang dinyatakan diterima di perguruan tinggi, dapat dilakukan verifikasi lebih lanjut oleh perguruan tinggi sebelum diusulkan ke Puslapdik sebagai calon mahasiswa penerima KIP Kuliah Merdeka.
“Semua bisa kuliah dengan KIP Kuliah, karena pemerintah sudah menyiapkan bantuan, maka kita harus siapkan diri dengan sungguh-sungguh. Dengan kesungguhan itu, kita akan sukses meraih beasiswa ini dengan sukses. Saya ingatkan, tidak ada kata terlambat. Teman-teman yang merasa memenuhi syarat, silakan mendaftar,” pesan Kepala Puslapdik.
