Walai.id, Maros– Sekretaris Daerah Maros, Andi Davied Syamsuddin, S.STP., M.Si, secara resmi menutup rangkaian acara Festival Aksara Lontara IV Tahun 2023. Penutupan acara berlangsung di Gedung Serbaguna Pemkab Maros pada Senin, 20 November 2023.
Festival Aksara Lontara IV merupakan acara yang diadakan untuk mempromosikan dan memperingati warisan budaya lokal, khususnya dalam hal penulisan menggunakan aksara lontara. Acara ini bertujuan untuk melestarikan kekayaan budaya dan tradisi masyarakat Maros.
Dalam penutupan acara, Sekretaris Daerah menyampaikan apresiasinya terhadap seluruh peserta, panitia, dan pihak terkait yang telah berkontribusi dalam suksesnya Festival Aksara Lontara tahun ini. Ia juga menekankan pentingnya pelestarian budaya dan tradisi lokal sebagai bagian integral dari identitas masyarakat.
“Festival Aksara Lontara bukan hanya sekadar perayaan, tetapi juga menjadi wadah untuk merayakan keberagaman budaya dan memupuk rasa kecintaan terhadap warisan leluhur kita,” ujar Andi Davied Syamsuddin.
Dalam festival ini, berbagai kegiatan dan pertunjukan seni telah diselenggarakan untuk mendalami aksara lontara kepada masyarakat Maros. Penutupan acara ini menjadi momen penutup yang penuh makna untuk mengakhiri serangkaian kegiatan yang meriah dan berwarna.
