Walai.id, Nasional – Menteri Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, memberikan apresiasi atas inovasi kakak-beradik Eren dan Rivan yang berhasil menciptakan produk ekonomi kreatif berupa sepatu dari bahan-bahan bekas.
Penghargaan tersebut diberikan dalam acara Creative Talkshow Apresiasi Kreasi Indonesia (AKI) 2023 yang berlangsung di Mega Mall Batam pada tanggal 28 Juli 2023.
Dalam acara tersebut, Menparekraf Sandiaga menyatakan kekagumannya terhadap Eren dan Rivan karena berhasil menciptakan sepatu yang menggunakan bahan limbah, seperti baju bekas, plastik, dan karung.
“Jadi bahan-bahan yang sudah menjadi limbah diolah akhirnya menjadi berkah, gitu ya,” ujar Menparekraf Sandiaga.
Usaha pembuatan sepatu oleh Eren dan Rivan dimulai pada Februari 2023. Eren belajar membuat sepatu dari temannya, mulai dari proses pembuatan upper sepatu, pemasangan sol, menjahit, hingga strategi pemasaran. Meskipun mendapat apresiasi, Eren mengakui bahwa perjalanan bisnis mereka tidak mudah.
Awalnya, ketika mencoba memasarkan produk melalui platform TikTok, penonton yang dihasilkan masih sedikit. Namun, berkat bantuan Rivan yang berhasil menarik perhatian banyak penonton, omzet usaha mereka kini mencapai Rp10-15 juta per bulan dengan modal awal hanya Rp100 ribu.
Menparekraf Sandiaga mendorong Eren dan Rivan untuk memanfaatkan berbagai program dari Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemenparekraf) guna meningkatkan kualitas produk dan pemasaran, termasuk akses permodalan.
“Kita punya akses pembiayaan, mudah-mudahan nanti bisa berkembang ke depannya,” ujar Menparekraf Sandiaga.
Sementara itu, popularitas produk sepatu karya Eren dan Rivan semakin meningkat. Banyak kalangan termasuk beberapa public figure, seperti Raffi Ahmad, yang tertarik dan memesan produk mereka.
Eren bahkan sempat membagikan momen saat membuatkan sepatu untuk Raffi Ahmad yang akan digunakan dalam acara peringatan anniversary salah satu program televisi. Namun, konten yang dibagikan tersebut mendapat berbagai reaksi dari netizen, termasuk komentar negatif.
Terkait hal ini, Eren dan Rivan menanggapinya dengan bijak. Meskipun mendapat komentar negatif dari beberapa netizen, mereka memilih untuk tetap fokus dan tidak patah semangat.
“Dari komentar negatif, banyak juga yang mendukung kami,” kata Eren. Sang adik, Rivan, juga berpendapat serupa dan menegaskan bahwa semangat dalam berkarya serta rendah hati adalah kunci untuk tetap maju hingga mencapai kesuksesan di masa depan.
