Walai.id, Makassar – Wali Kota Makassar, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto, dengan penuh semangat menghadiri Upacara, Parade, dan Defile perayaan HUT TNI ke-78 yang berlangsung di Karebosi pada hari Kamis, tanggal 5 Oktober 2023.
Acara tersebut menjadi simbol persatuan antara TNI, Polri, rakyat, Pemerintah Kota Makassar, dan Pemprov Sulsel.
Pomanto mengungkapkan perasaan kebahagiaan dan kebanggaannya melihat harmoni yang terjalin di antara semua pihak yang hadir.
“Saya merasa sangat bahagia dan berbangga melihat kekompakan TNI, rakyat, Polri, Pemerintah Kota Makassar, dan Pemprov Sulsel dalam perayaan ini,” ucapnya dengan tulus.
Selain merayakan prestasi dan dedikasi TNI selama 78 tahun, Pomanto juga menekankan arti penting dari persatuan ini dalam konteks nasional.
“Insyaallah, semangat persatuan yang kita saksikan hari ini akan menjadi modal berharga dalam mengawal agenda nasional kita tahun depan, yakni pesta demokrasi Pemilu, Pileg, dan Pilpres 2024,” kata Danny Pomanto, sapaan akrabnya, dalam pernyataannya setelah acara selesai.
Peringatan HUT TNI tahun ini mencerminkan komitmen kuat dalam membangun kesatuan dan integritas bangsa. Kehadiran Wali Kota Makassar dalam acara tersebut sebagai perwakilan Pemerintah Kota Makassar juga menunjukkan keterlibatan aktif pemerintah daerah dalam menjaga keselarasan di wilayahnya.
Acara ini, yang berlangsung dengan lancar dan penuh semangat, bukan hanya merayakan sejarah gemilang TNI, tetapi juga menggugah semangat persatuan di antara semua komponen masyarakat, mempersiapkan diri untuk tantangan-tantangan besar yang akan datang, termasuk proses demokrasi yang penting pada tahun mendatang.
